Yes, I did. From the Bigger Purpose in Life, I sidetracked.

I shopped a little today.

I have not shopped for a single clothing item since my trip to Singapore in June 2009. Though, to be fair, as pointed out by Babe, I DID shop for winter clothing in Nov. However, I digress. Winter clothing should never be constituted as Retail Therapy because it's a Necessity. I'm sure he still begs to differ :)

My usual last minute shopping haunts: Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, and Forever21. Can't go wrong with these usual suspects. Some say F21's clothes are of bad quality. I do not deny that, having experienced it before, BUT if you'd look harder, some gems can be found there and they have lasted me years of constant wearing. So, for me F21 is like a little adventure haven - dig deep and you find your treasures.

So how often do you sidetrack from your daily lives? I believe every now and then, it's permissible. Have that cupcake if it makes you feel better. Go for a holiday if it cleanses your soul. Instead of a continued silence, give that asshole a piece of your mind. Well, I did. In a form of a 48KB email. And I feel gooooooooood. Yes people, do everything, say anything, but most of all, do all in moderation.

Life is fun and should be lived as one.
